The University of Oklahoma Health is seeking a specialist physician in anesthesiology with
expertise or strong interest in pediatric anesthesia, sedation, and acute pain management.
You will join a dynamic team of anesthesiologists providing comprehensive perioperative
care for children across all surgical specialties — from neonates to adolescents — in close
collaboration with pediatric surgeons, intensivists, and pain medicine specialists.

We welcome applications from qualified anesthesiologists worldwide. USMLE/ECFMG
certification and prior U.S. experience are preferred. Those who have substantial academic
and clinical expertise will be also considered.

Clinical and Academic Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthetic care for a full range of pediatric non-cardiac surgical procedures
- Provide sedation and anesthesia for diagnostic and interventional procedures such as MRI, CT, endoscopy, and radiologic interventions.
- Participate in the acute pain service, utilizing regional and multimodal analgesia techniques to enhance recovery.
- Collaborate closely with pediatric surgery, intensive care, and perioperative
medicine teams to optimize outcomes. - Engage in clinical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives that
align with departmental priorities.

Qualifications
- Completed specialty training in anesthesiology (board certification or equivalent)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric anesthesia
- USMLE certification preferred (Step 1–3 or ECFMG eligibility)
- Motivation to grow within an academic medical center
- Good English skills and enthusiasm for intercultural collaboration
